On the initiative of the General Direction of Heritage of the Community of Madrid, El Barco has conducted a study to determine whether the paintings that appear after the altarpiece of the Church of San Torcuato, in the apse, correspond to the foot of a pantocrator and have continuity in the high part of the altarpiece. Selective tastings are underway to find out if there are more remains of the painting.
